The ASA Football website is an online store and resource for parents and coaches where they can browse and purchase football equipment. When designing the site, it was important to create an online destination where a vistor could get a sense of action and interactivity. The goal of this design was to play off how children think of and view themselves when they play sports.
Many kids invision themselves playing in the superbowl, or at a large stadium, not many invision cutesy crayon drawings and smily faces, so it was decided a more pro-league feel was appropriate. This was carried out with the use of dark colors, concrete and metalic textures, as well as with images of players in action on the home page.
Also in the site is the Uniform Design tool, where players and parents can go to design and customize every aspect of their uniform, allowing the customer more control over their team image.
