Utilizing lasers and special imaging technology, Konica Minolta has managed to digitize the intricate details of one of the world’s most famous statues. The idea behind this concept was to bring that statue to life for everyone who is not fortunate enough to see it in person. This iPad app will allow for three different modes: Freeview, which allows the user to rotate and view the statue in space; Research, which populates the statue with historical notes and facts, and Camera mode, which turns the iPad into a custom documentation tool, allowing the user to light and photograph the statue as they see fit.
