Ace Metrix Identity

Ace Metrix is a company that specializes in the analytics of television advertising and provides a unique platform that not only allows companies to track their advertisements ratings among viewers, but also their competitors as well. Founded by people from both the world of advertising and the world of research, an element of science and simple, clean, white space was key to the design of the logo and identity.

Homescape Logo & Ads

A project completed at Art Center, the assignment was to create a product between two well known brands that utilized the technologies of both. I chose to use Sony for their experience with home entertainment and e-paper, and Xerox for their experience in developing jet print transistor and sensor technology. The end product was “Homescape”, a digital interactive wallpaper that transformed your walls into interactive environments.

Art Center Fall Events 2005

An events mailer for Art Center College of Design which unfolds into a poster. I was asked to try to convey “Fall” as well as the “Art Center” aesthetic, which was an added challenge due to the fact that the college was undergoing a rebranding campaign that semester. Based upon the “Golden Ratio”, integrating the mailing panel into the design of the piece was a major goal of the design.

Adobe Systems Identity

Adobe, who is responsible for a majority of the software used in digital media and content creation, has grown rapidly over the past years expanding into other fields of design and data management. When it came time to design a logo and identity, I felt it was important to show how modular their company had become (hence the use of repetitive shapes). When creating a standards guide, my goal was to come up with guidelines for many uses of the logo without being too restrictive on creative possibilities.

NASA Orion Identity

A concept design for the identity of NASA’s new Orion space craft program. Rather then go the high tech route, I created a modified black-letter logotype to try and emphasize a more religious feel. The logo mark its self is composed of 3 stars creating 3 sets of points. Each point represents Earth, the Moon, and Mars, all 3 destinations for the Orion spacecraft.
